Payment method declined

Hi, I’m from India trying to add a payment method to iTunes. But my payment method is getting declined, I’m using VISA card as my payment option. The message says “unable to process purchases at this time”.

I tried using a different card and the message was “please enter valid payment method information”, and that was also a valid VISA card.

If they are debit cards that might be why they are being declined, not all work with iTunes.


For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and therefore the country which is on your iTunes account).
