MLB.tv requires daily sign in

On my appletv 3 I cannot access any game until I go to the MLB.tv settings in the MLB app and sign out(!) then sign back in. Once I do that it works great until the next day and it shows me signed in but no games- they are all greyed out. My only recourse is to go to the settings and sign out and back in again. Any one getting this? MLB says it is Apples fault so no help there. I have restarted, reset, unplugged after sleep and even deleted the MLB.tv app and reinstalled it. Why don’t I stay signed in? Help!

The 3rd Gen doesn’t run apps, just preset content. Nothing is stored, nor can anything be added or deleted (just hidden).

Providers have been starting to drop support for the older models so it would be best to verify if they are in fact maintaining the server version

If you see an App Store on your menu then it is at least a 4th Gen. Of an issue persists after a force quit and reloading of the app then it is something the developer needs to fix. It wouldn’t have anything to do with Apple as they had no part in designing the app.
