Purchase is not going through

I keep trying to purchase some stuff through an app and it tells me my purchase won’t go through and to contact iTunes support. What do I do?

iPhone 8, iOS 12

If you supplied a credit or debit card, check its details. If they're correct, or you're using a different payment method, click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for assistance.
