Text message not coming to watch

Text messages are not coming to my Apple Watch Series 4. I’m getting other notifications such as FB messenger, Snapchat, etc. just text messages are not coming through.

Do you mean the messages do not appear even when you view the Messages app on the watch, -or- you don’t get a notification? Most times this seems to be a notification issue, either settings or because the iPhone was unlocked at the relevant time.
