iCloud backups

How do I retrieve an old (Dec 18) backup to view photos I had on my iPad then? The photos have since been deleted from my device and I’m trying to recover them. Auto backup has always been turned on.

When I go to backups, I only see the most recent one.

iCloud Backups Does anybody know if it’s possible to access iCloud backups from years ago? Long story short, I lost a large chunk of photos from around 2013-2016 due to IT issues. The pictures are from when I had an iPhone 5s and iPhone 6s and up until now have just accepted the fact that I will never get them back. However, I just thought, is it possible to access backups from them phones created that long ago between 2013-2016ish? I still have both phones (although my dad uses one now) and have never changed my apple ID etc. Is there a shot at retrieving the back ups or not?

iCloud does not keep more than 3 backups available.

Are you using the iCloud Photo Library?
