itunes wont sync my outlook calendar and contacts from pc

I use a pc with Office 365 and want to sync my outlook calendar and contacts with iPhone 8 using iTunes. It worked the first time but won't update the calendar on my phone even with all the right parts in 'info' all ticked and applied. (My email is IMAP so I've been told it won't sync the calendar and contacts even though it will sync emails with my phone). Suggestions of what to do please!
