My heartrate monitor either stops recording my heartrate or freezes during my workouts recently.
This is annoying because it is a short workout based on raising my heartrate and resting once it is lowered.
Any suggestions

I would suggest you reset your Watch. Press the crown and side button in untill the Apple logo appears. Also Check your Watch is updated to 5.2.1and your iphone is running ios 12.3.1. Finally still got issues Unpair your Watch and repair it.
