Yahoo hijacked safari on Mac 10.14.5 - no extensions.

I have researched this the past week. Did everything I could find...

Yahoo still automatic search engine and I cannot figure it out.

No extensions when I checked.


What to do? What to look for to get rid of yahoo?

Download and run Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes was developed by one of our own colleagues here in ASC and is about the most proven anti-malware software for Mac.


After that be sure to go to Safari menu > Preferences > Search > Search Engine and change it back to your own preference.
