iPhone XR glitching

I’ve had my iPhone XR since March, but for the last month or so it’s started glitching out about once a day: freezing for several minutes, pink stripes appearing across the screen, apps opening on their own. When this happens, my phone is completely paralyzed and won’t turn off. Anyone else experiencing this? What should I do?
