Since a software update last week to my series 3 apple watch (to watchOS 5.2.1), calories are not being detected during workouts. Is this a known problem requiring a fix from apple? Suggestions?

calories count is inaccurate since last update 10.1.1 I have an apple watch SE second gen, and since last update to 10.1.1, the calories are not counted correctly any more. Graphic representation seems to be similar to previous days, but the calories do not add. So overall calories and active calories have significantly dropped since the update. Example yesterday, being a slightly more active day than average, got an active calorie count of 24 and a total of 807. Before the update on a similar day I got 499 active for a total of 2384.

No Calories after software update Since I’ve done the latest IOS watch software update, the exercise programs counting calories and exercise time do not count calories or exercise time. The values just stay at zero while the program is running. And when I stop the program and go back to the home watch face, the same two circles just continue to denote zero. Could this be a glitch in the new software or is there a problem with the watch itself?

I would suggest you Unpair your Watch and repair it.

Reset your watch by pressing in the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both.
