Son lost iphone in lake. Our carrier insurance covers a new phone. Will we be able to set up the new phone using restore icloud backup? Do we need to put old phone in lost mode or erase old iphone even if it’s at the bottom of a lake and more than likely doesn’t work/can’t be found?
