Apple care

So my MacBook has been heating up more recently and then I got back home last night and jumped onto my computer since I haven’t used it in a few day and I found out my mousepad wasn’t working and I was wondering how can I check to see if I still have Apple care and also I found out today 06/25/2019 that Apple are doing recalls on MacBook

This Apple support page will determine if your AppleCare coverage is still in force:

Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support

There are several service programs open for MacBook Pros:

15-inch MacBook Pro Battery Recall Program - Apple Support

Keyboard Service Program for MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro - Apple Support

13-inch MacBook Pro Display Backlight Service Program

13-inch MacBook Pro (non Touch Bar) Solid-State Drive Service Program - Apple Support

13-inch MacBook Pro (non Touch Bar) Battery Replacement Program - Apple Support

If your trackpad stoped working I suspect the battery has swollen. This is a SERIOUS condition that, if attention is delayed, can do fatal damage to the computer in mere days. If you suspect the battery, act today.
