red icloud icons

Wife used to use iTunes Match and no longer does. She has music listed in her cloud that has the cloud download icon next to it and its red. if she clicks on it it'll spin and then return to the same icon with nothing happening that she can tell.

Is this music what was "Matched" when she was a iTunes Match subscriber?

If so how can she get rid of these songs

If not, WTH are they?

TIA

See Turn on iCloud Music Library with Apple Music - Apple Support. Turn off iCloud Music Library and all of the now invalid cloud links should disappear.

If you have time it might be nice to share a screenshot of what you see in case this issue comes up again.

A person who does not subscribe to either iTunes Match or Apple Music has absolutely no access to any music in iCloud.

What might "listed in her cloud" possibly mean?

Does that actually mean you're looking in iTunes, and have the cloud icon column visible? If so, you might as well hide it as it's irrelevant given the current subscription status.
