Mac OS X

Not too familiar with Macs. Was given a Macbook Pro from 2014 i7 processor. Since it was a school machine that was being thrown away there is no hard drive but I will be supplying my own. With that in mind, Does anyone know of a way to get Mac OSX either downloaded or a disc? I know with Windows it's super easy to accomplish this.

Any help is appreciated.

Its sounds like you got a 'new' mac, So, try this

Press the "Command" + "Option" + "R" Keys at the same time, when it says "Starting internet recovery" You can stop

Choose "Disk Utility" when it boots up and says "MacOS utility's"

Then erase the disk thats inside the machine,

The click the red circle in the corner of the window, and then choose, "Reinstall MacOS"

Follow the instructions, And your good to go!
