Apple ID
My daughter gave me an IPad that has her Apple ID. I want to get rid of it and use my new Apple ID. I do not know her password and neither does she.

Have her enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.
When she recovers the password, have her do the steps in the article below to make it 'your' iPad.
