2015 MBP won't sync

My 2015 MacBook Pro won't sync with my iPhone or by iPad. The connection keeps going on and off. All systems are updated.

Safely Remove Hardware:

Open the Finder Menu, then click the remove button located on the far right of the Icon. Don’t just unplug it, as that may damage the port in each device.


Boot with a Fresh Connection:

Safety remove the device > Shut Down your Mac > Plug in the iPhone into your Mac. Then restart it.


Hardwire Connecivity:

How old is your Lightning Bolt cable. Try using another, much newer one — one that is Apple brand.


Accessibility:

Permissions may get in the way sometimes. So, create a new Administrator user and try this once more.


Firewall:

Also, rid of any security software you may have installed. It’s 3rd party software, and much is overruled by it. Connections are just are not permitted by it.
