if i order an SURPRISE apple watch with cellular for my daughter, do i have to use her apple id to purhase it?
I purchased my Wife's Apple Watch with my Apple ID, but she setup her Apple Watch using her own Apple ID.

When you purchase it you will need the Apple ID of the purchaser. Your daughter will setup the watch using her Apple ID.
You don't need to give them an Apple ID at all.
