PAGEs stop Tracking pop up bubble appearing every time I move cursor near the text

Honestly I can't image why this 'feature' is even there, it is completely unhelpful. I want to have tracking so I can see at a glance how my new text is different from the original. So its coming up green. Good.

What's bad is the stupid little pop up that appears when I move the cursor near the text, to continue editing. Useless interface design. How can I get rid of and keep the text appearing in the new colour (using tracking)???
