face id unavailable

Yesterday, my face ID decided it didn't want to work anymore. I have tried restarting my phone several times. I have the XS Max. Each time I try to select the Face ID setup in settings, it just keeps saying "Face ID is Not Available Try setting up Face ID later"

If you have tried this, and nothing resolves an issue, schedule an appointment at a Genius Bar or the nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider.
