How to block someone’s email in iCloud email

Hello,

I have a harassing contact in my phone. I blocked their number, but can’t block their email. As far as I know, the iCloud email can only create rules about which folder emails go to, but not actually block an address. Because of this I’m going to have to shut down my iCloud email address and get another kind. (Huge hassle after years of using it for everything) As I don’t want this person having a method of contact with me. I want them to know their emails aren’t being received by me.

Am I wrong? Can an iCloud email system block another email address?
