Text tone frequency

Hi, Does anybody know how I can set my text notification to only ring once per text? I have an iPhone 8 Plus. Thank you

Settings > Notifications > Messages > Repeat Alerts > None [Tick]

Changing notification tones On iPhone SE (2nd generation) I change tone for notifications but the tone stays the same. In settings it shows the new tone is checked, but the old one continues to play. It’s a bit frustrating because the notification tone is the same as for texts and it’s almost constantly going off and distracting me! I appreciate any ideas you might have.

Text tone only works intermittently When I receive a text in Messages, often the text tone doesn't sound. I only find out about the text when I see the badge on the Messages app. Is there a setting I need to change? Can you tell me how to change the settings for the Messages app? iPhone SE 3 iOS 16.6.1
