mac running alot slower than expected!!!

actually i haven't used my mac after a period of 2 yrs. but when i started using it at first it couldn't load up from the starting screen (from the screen where you see that apple logo),then i tried to repair the hard disk through the disk utility but it said it can't repair the hard disk. Eventually i formatted the hardisk and reinstalled the latest mac os sierra. but the problem still persists and my mac is unable to process even the simplest commands quickly.

i even noticed a question mark in the column where it tells the description about the ram when you open the description about this mac.

kindly suggest me a possible solution to my problem.

Your hard drive may be failing.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

It may not help, but try running/posting the Etrecheck report. If the log won’t post, try posting it in PasteBin and provide a link in a reply        Pastebin

You can test the RAM using the below. Running the long test is best.

Memory Test

Since the RAM isn't showing and you couldn't repair the disk using Disk Utility, unless the Etrecheck report shows something, you may need to take the computer in for testing. If necessary, if you live near an Apple Store, make a Genius Bar appointment to have the device/computer tested. Supposedly there is no charge for testing. Use 2nd link if not near an Apple Store or aren’t in the US. Take the original purchase receipt with you. Hardware Repair - Keeping Confidential Data Safe
