What am I doing wrong?

Recently I've purchased music from iTunes. I see the song, I can play the song, but when I went to record a CD for myself, a window pops up telling me that they are apple music songs, therefore can't be recorded. Please, what am I missing?

Where did you download these songs from, Apple Music or bought from the iTunes Store ? Songs downloaded from Apple Music are tied to the account, and can only be played via that account (e.g. computer's iTunes, Music app on iOS devices), they can't be burned to CDs for playing in a normal CD player.
