Apple Watch series 3 screen broken

I dropped my Apple Watch and sadly, the whole screen broke and I can barley use it. I just bought it a month ago, and I thought my warranty would cover it, but apparently not. Some people say though, if I send it to be repaired the may replace it. It’s and Apple Watch series 3 and it’s brand new. Does someone know anyway I can get the screen replaced without it costing $150-$200? Or if Apple will give me a series 4 which is what I’ve heard happened to people in my situation.
