About broken Apple Watch screen

One month after i have purchase the Apple Watch screen glass broke but eve thing is working properly.

So I went to IDigital Apple store at Israel to fix the screen and they told me the screen can't be fixed.

The only option is to replace it watch by new one that would cost me a little less than a new watch.

Instead of 700$ it is going to cost me 550$ ~approximately.

I can't believe I have to spend so much money now to fix the watch especially when this watch are the last version (6).

Can you please assist?
