Water damage

My wife's iPhone X got knocked into the pool skimmer. It was pulled right out and dried with a cloth, placed in a bag of rice. It's been in the rice for nearly 24 hours. It is not responding, it showed the apple which shows at start up and then shut down. It will not respond further. Is the phone covered by the Apple Care protection as accidental damage?

Water damage on iphone13 My device is just 5 months old.. few days before i used my device for take a photo from a pool, Just below 'one' minut i kept the phone under water, but after two days my display screen dead,now it shown nothing on screen, but calling touch vibration all working! Then i didnt get any warranty from apple, its too bad experience from the brand,iam sure my phone not used more than apple allowed water resistance policy.. I think the phone had any manufacturing deffect.

iPhone XR water damage I have a an iPhone XR in mint condition with no cracks or scratches that I took swimming no longer than 10 minutes and at most no deeper than 30 centremeters. Unfortunately shortly after it greenscreened and then shut down and have not been able to restart it since. Apple says that the phone should have been fine and I only took it under water after they said it was ok. Can this be a warranty issue? I don’t have the receipt for it anymore however [Re-Titled by Moderator]

If you have Apple Care+ I think you can get it replaced but I would check your coverage here - Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support
