Gifting apps

So, I don’t know if this is a problem with the App Store or not, but I need to gift some apps, but it doesn’t give me the option to anymore. What happened?!

There have been a few posts about it today, and I'm also not getting the option - I assume it's a problem with the store, and not that the option has been deliberately removed.
