Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I just deleted the documents from:
Files -> Icloud Drive
All the documents are gone from the drive and there’s nothing in the trash too. But, the problem is, my storage for the icloud drive is still occupied. And I couldn’t free up my little portion of space, that is what disturbing me!

Try going to iCloud.com/iCloud Drive using a computer browser and click on Recently Deleted at the bottom right. If there are files there you do not need, delete them. Then try iCloud.com/Settings and go to Advanced at the bottom left. Access Restore Files. If there are files there you do not need, delete them.

You think that will solve the problem?
Its showing the same occupied storage on the desktop using iCloud ...
Is there any more realistic solution to this ? Or what ..its the technical error in such an Apple’s software ?
I already have done that but ....
But what? Have you tried signing out of iCloud and back in to see if that refreshes the storage?
