Watch series 4 water damage

I recently purchased an Apple Watch series 4 and I went swimming with it for the first time and now it won’t turn on. At first it was cycling on and off, so I took it off to dry and now it is extremely hot and won’t turn on. Has anyone experienced this?

Apple watch water damage I went swimming with my apple watch series 3 and I think it has water damage. I tried following the steps from the previous posts to try and get it to force start but it isn’t turning on or charging. I even called the store that repairs apple products and they said that they don’t do repairs and only replace the watches. Is there anything else I can do?

I have seen similar postings. Suggest you make an appointment with an Apple store Genius Bar.
