Not able to install win10 with bootcamp with mojave 10.14.5

• Remove any external peripherals.
• Remove Windows via BC Assistant only.
• Reset SMC and NVRAM.
• Try to re-install Windows.

You have a BOOTCAMP partition. Was OSXRESERVED manually deleted?

• Do you have a $WinPEDriver$ folder in the root of OSXRESERVED?
• Do you have an AutoUnattend.xml file in the root of OSXRESERVED?

On your Mac, you should not have this highlighted entry. This is what is causing your issue. Was this manually created?

2.        <WillShowUI>Always</WillShowUI>
3.       </DiskConfiguration>

Post the output of

sudo fsck_apf -n -l /dev/rdisk1

from macOS Terminal.

Can you reboot and post the output of

diskutil list

It should correct the disk numbering gap. We can clean up after that.

Yes. BCA will not let you use it. BCA needs an additional 10GB partition which will be used as a Windows Installer.

As a test, create a FAT partition of the size you want Windows to be. See Partition a physical disk using Disk Utility on Mac - Apple Support for reference.

Run

diskutil eraseVolume free free disk0s3

This will make it a free space chunk, that can be added back as

diskutil apfs resizeContainer disk1 0g

and post the output of both commands.

Looks good. Can you retry BC Assistant and test if you can install Windows?

The amount of free space you should have is the size of Windows partition + 10GB (for the installer).
