I am unable to lock any of my notes because it does not give me the option to lock anything. What do I need to do? I have the latest software, I shut down and reboot the notes app and I get nothing. No one at the Apple Store was able to figure it out either .

Note that you can only lock Notes that are local on your phone or that sync to iCloud. If your notes sync to any non-Apple service like gmail or Microsoft you cannot lock them.
