Text colors in Notes app on iPhone/iPad

I noticed in other threads that Apple’s support for this feature continues to be deficient. I offer a workaround.

Create a note in macOS that uses all the colors. For example a word in color Red, the next word in color Green, and so forth. Then when you get to your iOS device you can select the colored word, paste it where you’re interested in having that color, and continue to edit. The edited text will remain that color. Clearly a kludge, but hopefully Apple will improve this future soon.
