Getting pass activation lock screen

I can’t get into my iPad because its on the activation lock screen with a weird email j......@gmail or iCloud.com and I haven’t changed my email at all so I don’t know how to get pass it. I have try everything possible but to no response. I have called Apple they told me I need proof of purchase but I don’t have it because it was paid my the college I attended and the owner that pay for it is not responding to my email or calls so how to I bypass the activation Lock screen
