With an Apple Music subscription, all of the Apple Music catalog is available to you, including the same content as others have in their library.
With Family Sharing and and Apple Music Family subscription, each user gets their own separate music library. Only the access to the service is shared. If group members want to share some music with other users, then they can create and share a playlist for that purpose. You can also keep each other informed by seeing what friends are listening to in Apple Music.
With Family Sharing and Purchase Sharing, the group members can access each other’s purchases in the iTunes Store, including music bought there.
Converted audio CDs and music from other sources cannot be shared through Family Sharing.
