Since installing Verizon Fios set top box/dvr, i can’t access my Apple TV box: not through Apple TV app, Apple TV remote, or directly with my home theater remote. Can you tell me why and how to fix this, or did Verizon do something to cause this, such as stopping all support for Apple TV? Thanks for your help.

Is the ATV plugged into the television? Is it connected to WiFi? It's quite possible that when the people installed the FIOS equipment, they didn't hook up the ATV and it's not connected to the new WiFi network.

This sounds like something you need to contact Verizon about. It sounds as if they didn't set things up properly.
What is ATV: Apple TV? It’s hard to believe it’s not connected to wifi since it will work intermittently but only if I keep unplugging and plugging back in the HDMI cables connecting Apple TV to the home theater receiver, and the one from the Home theater receiver to the tv. CHECK THIS OUT: since Fios was installed, if I turn the home theater receiver off, it goes back on by itself. What’s going on???? Thanks
