Can’t delete app off of iPhone

As I said, the icon with the white field and black lines, indicates the app has not completely downloaded. Did you follow the directions in the link I provided?

If the app appears on your Home screen, but is dim or has white with lines on it, don't delete the app. Restart your device, then go to the App Store and redownload the app.

The icon with the white field and black lines, indicates that 'Spotify' didn't download completely, which is likely why you can't delete it. See > If you can’t download or update apps, or if apps get stuck - Apple Support

The only other thing that I can think of is to Force restart iPhone. After your phone reboots, then go to Settings and turn off Wi-Fi, then go to General > iPhone Storage and see if you can delete it from there. If that doesn't work Contact Apple Support.

A few of things to try. First, try deleting the app in Settings>General>iPhone Storage. Try powering off the phone and powerint it back on. Try putting it in Airplane mode for a minute then reconnecting it. Try logging out of the App Store and back in.
