icloud account access

I need to update my icloud account on my iPhone 6 Plus but cannot use the directions sent to me by them. It says to go to Settings and tap iCloud but I have no iCloud in my settings.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 12

tap on Settings
Tap on your name / Apple Id
now you can Tap on iCloud
