Safari internet connection

When I start my computer I access the internet fine via a wifi connection but after a few minutes it seems to stop the connection and I just stall. I reboot and access fine again only to have the connection stall again and have to repeat the process.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

However, Safari reports "You Are Not Connected to the Internet" for every site. I've cleared all site data, disabled all plugins, verified network settings, and taken numerous other steps in an attempt to resolve the issue, but Safari remains broken. Safari stops working Greetings. Running 10.14.3 on a 2018 MacBookPro connected to the internet via wifi from a Netgear Orbi. I open up Safari and am able to visit websites. BUT after a couple of minutes safari will no longer load webpages. Wifi is good as network setting shows I am still connected and if I run firefox i can visit webpages fine. If I restart the computer Safari works fine but only for a few minutes. Any ideas?

Surfing on internet on wifi and suddenly safari can not load webpage - disconnect & connect and everything is ok Hi, This happens approx. every 30 minutes or so. And it is annoying. What is wrong? How to fix this? Thanks

This problem was actually a virus of some kind. I used Malwarebytes to correct the problem.

Is this only happening with Safari or is it affecting all programs that need Internet access?

Try another browser as a test.

Firefox 10.9 or higher

Opera Browser 10.9 or higher

SeaMonkey 10.9 or higher8

Waterfox 10.8 or higher

Was able to correct the problem. I had a virus.
