Changing apple I.D. For Security Tactics
Someone is changing my password daily again..
What can I do ? I have an I-pad mini approximately 4 years old.
I posted on this forum , and it stopped for 2 weeks. The last time it was changed was June 16, 2019 .
Before june 16, 2019 it was being changed approximately every 2 or 3 days, then
Before that, it was being changed randomly..
Sometimes daily..
I decided to post on the forum and get help for community members that might be having this problem.
A couple of years ago I would notify Apple security, and it would stop , but only a short time. .
Whomever was changing it was blocking my i.p. address so I could not notify Apple security.
I had to post from another computer 💻..
Then
on July 1st, and July 2nd my password was changed again. I check my password daily by going to Apples home page, and attempting to login, and sure enough it began again.. incorrect password..
I changed my password again last night, and this morning it had been changed again..
I use all safety precautions when changing my password like using my private network.
I go to Apple’s home page to login, and change it, then I enter my password in iTunes, and I don’t give any apps special permission to my privacy rights.
Except McAfee VPN,
That changed recently also too.
Last time:
I noticed I could not use Apples Home Page to change my password with the McAfee VPN on.
It would say error Bad Gateway until I turned the McAfee VPN off
After turning the McAfee VPN off Apples Home Page would allow me to change my password.
I used my private network also , Not public
Now : Apple’s Home Page allows me to use McAfee VPN to change my password without turning the VPN off first.
However, I tried it both ways
I thought it was strange that Apple’s Home Page would allow McAfee VPN to allow me to change my password there without turning it off, then this time it didn’t matter.
