Missing photos after I got a new iphone

How can I access my cloud to see if my missing photos still exist. They are photos from 2018 that disappeared when I transitioned fro. iPhone 7 to Max XS.

If you want to access your photos at iCloud.com, it is easiest to do that using a computer browser. Trying to access iCloud on a device doesn't work very well, if at all.
