Before I tried to install the boot-camp drivers for the third time, I right clicked on the volume icon in the task-bar of Windows 10 and I saw an option that was "Troubleshoot problems." I clicked on this. What happened next was a little confusing, but I selected the speakers when it asked me what I wanted to fix. After it pondered for awhile it told me that the problem was fixed and that I needed to reboot.

I have no idea what just happened, but it worked. Up to this point, I was getting pretty ****** because it looked like the sound driver supplied by boot-camp wasn't working.
