Privacy Question

Hi People I hope someone will answer this questions.

As we all know Apple always says that when you upload your data to iCloud it is all encrypted and even Apple cannot access it. Today I was reviewing Apple Transparency report from second half 2018

https://www.apple.com/legal/transparency/report-pdf.html

In that report I have found following lines under table 3:

# of Account Requests Where Content Data Provided

The number of account-based requests that resulted in Apple providing content data, such as

stored photos, email, iOS device backups, contacts or calendars, in response to a valid legal

request. We count each account-based request where we provide content data and report the

total number of such instances by country/region.

So now I'm confused and here is why. Apple always tell us even Apple cannot access our data so what does that above means than? Do they Lie as everyone else?

Thanks for explanation

The list of content protected by end-to-end encryption and not available by any means is not the same as the content provided by, a presumably legal court order in that table 3.

See >>> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202303

The above types of content are not the same as below. Apples and oranges.

Nobody lied. You should retract that accusation.

Thank you very much for explanation and I would like to explain that I am not accusing anyone here, and if that sounds like that, I apologize for above words. I only want to point that this rules and explanations are simply incomprehensible to an ordinary bread eater. I only hope Apple will continue working towards protecting human rights.
