iPhone 6s keeps freezing while in use

For the past couple of weeks my iPhone 6s started to freeze up while in use. I’ve seen where this might be related to an app or to incompatible hardware. iPhone is original and not jailbroken and all apps have been downloaded from the Apple App Store. Many people have been complains of the same issue and it has been left unanswered by Apple? Can someone please look into this and let us know how to fix it? Doing a hard reset or resetting back to defaults doesn’t work for this issue for it continues to happen.
