Iphone 6; Virus pop up alert Browser Trojan Viruses

Dear Community, (first time trying is)

I have now twice gotten this message, each time with a little more of my browser damaged. Is it for real or a not?

If real what can I do to get rid of it?

Message pop up that iphone has 14 viruses I was looking up info on Google on my iphone and got a pop up that said I had acquired 14 viruses and to hit ok and follow the steps provided. I tried to X out of the pop up and could not get out of that window. After searching for answers I was warned that this is a scam and to exit the window, please tell me how to do that !
