My iPhone SE has started up upon being turned on showing dim lighting which then returns to normal brightness after<5-10 minutes?
Does this mean a problem?
It is bothersome.

Do you have Auto-Brightness turned on? If so, it will make the iPhone dim and brighten, based on ambient light. If it is on, try turning it off, and if you have the brightness level turned up and it is still dim, it could be an issue with the light sensor on the iPhone. Make a Genius Bar appointment at the nearest Apple Store to have it examined by Apple. Hopefully you can replicate the behavior to them there.

Thank you! Auto-Brightness was turned on. Problem solved when re-set to full brightness.
