settings to try and name the AirPods

When I go to the settings to try and name the AirPods or assign functions to them, after touching the “i” in the Bluetooth menu, it only gives me the option to disconnect or forget the device. Nothing else shows up. I bought these second hand but they’re the 2nd generation AirPods. What am I missing here?

That doesn’t show up when they’re connected. I only see forget device and disconnect.

Reset them by putting them in the case, leave the lid open, and hold down the button in the back until the white blinks white. The reconnect them to your iPhone.
