I cannot add/change the name of my AirPods

When I press the "i" next to airpods, there is nothing there but connect/disconnect and "forget this device". I cannot add/change the name of my airpods, nor can I change the double tap feature. Help?

AirPods I was trying to rename my AirPods but the section to rename it wasn’t there so I pressed forget this device and I tried reconnecting my AirPods again but it kept coming up as my friends AirPods name. Can you tell me why it keeps doing that?

settings to try and name the AirPods When I go to the settings to try and name the AirPods or assign functions to them, after touching the “i” in the Bluetooth menu, it only gives me the option to disconnect or forget the device. Nothing else shows up. I bought these second hand but they’re the 2nd generation AirPods. What am I missing here? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Adjust the settings of your AirPods

Can’t rename AirPods
