I’ve used mail
productivity app for many years today I clicked on it and nothing happens. What’s up. I tried my iPad and it works there

Since you have not mentioned which email account you are referring to, i give below my generic information.
You do not require any app for managing emails on iPhone/iPad. (Google, iCloud, AOL, Outlook, Yahoo, Exchange) all can be handles with ease on Settings > Password & Account > Add Account
Here's how:
- Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts, then tap Add Account.
- Tap your email provider.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Tap Next and wait for Mail to verify your account.
- Choose information from your email account, like Contacts or Calendars, that you want to see on your device.
- Tap Save.
