SMS Message failed to send error message on iPhone startup

I accidentally replied to a message that was a DO NOT REPLY SMS text.


I deleted the message but every time I start up my iPhone a get a 'failed to send' error message.


How do I get rid of this annoying banner on startup?

Delete the message (Which Failed to send)

When you delete a message or conversation, you can't get it back. So make sure that you save important information from your messages.


To delete a message:

  1. In a message conversation, touch and hold the message bubble that you want to delete, then tap More.
  2. Tap , then tap Delete Message.
