One playlist does not appear on ipad or iphone

I have a few playlists that I have created on iTunes on my iMac. I have a subscription to Apple music. I also have a lot of purchased music. I have not had a problem accessing any of the music that I put in these different playlists, which contains a mixture of purchased music and music downloaded from Apple music. I have been using these playlists on different devices for quite some time now. Two days ago, one of my playlists will no longer appear on my iPhone or my iPad. When I look at it in iTunes on my Mac, it has the little cloud symbol with a line through it which indicates it's not syncing with my iCloud music library. I've been through all the settings and looked at all the options and preferences and I can't find any reason for that particular playlist to no longer be accessible in my iCloud music library. There have been no updates in the past few days that might affect it. There is nothing unusual about the selections there. I have playlists for different purposes such as classical music, music my grandchild likes to hear when we are in the car, a list of songs not played recently, etc. I mostly use it on my iPad and I really miss it.

Thanks again! The link did not solve my issue directly but it put me on the right path and I needed to see the iCloud status my iTunes library items. I realized that it may be related to some of my purchased music that did not have an iCloud match. The playlists don't allow me to see the status of each item because there is no column header but as I scrolled down the playlist, I saw a few items showing an iCloud issue. I had not noticed that before. As soon as I removed the two selections, the icon went away. I checked the iPad and voila! Both were purchased items from a prior disc import into iTunes. Only a few selections in that compilation of classical music did not have an iCloud match.

Have a look at what the icons mean

if it’s this one?

Ineligible

This icon appears next to items that can't be added to iCloud Music Library. A song might be ineligible if it wasn't purchased from the iTunes Store or was purchased using a different Apple ID, or if the song file is larger than 200 MB, is longer than two hours, or was encoded at 96 Kbps or less.

It happened again. Earlier in the day, I had added a song I heard playing on iTunes Classical music radio station. In hind sight, I think that is what trigged the the issue last time. I don't recall the selection in either case. It just had the kind of sound I look for to be included in that list.

When I click on the crossed-out cloud next to the playlist on my iMac, it shows the message below. However, I don't see a way to tell which songs are not eligible.

"iCloud Music Library playlists can only include music from your iCloud Music Library. This playlist can’t be uploaded because it includes other media kinds or songs that are not eligible."
